Motivation is what keeps us going in life. It is important to stay motivated, no matter what life throws at you. Here are 5 steps to help you in that direction
1. Maintain a Positive Mindset
Life is 10% of what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. Choose to see the positive side of things. Do not allow yourself be angry or frustrated for petty things.
2. Surround Yourself with Positive

Find a cause to fight for, and or a charity to donate to or volunteer with. Stop focusing on just you. Helping others will help you feel better. It works like magic!
4. Make Time for Yourself
As Alan Cohen said: “There is virtue in work and there is virtue in rest. Use both and overlook neither”. This is an area where most people, especially managers and entrepreneurs fall short of. Do not wait for your next vacation or day off to rest and relax. Take effective breaks throughout the day and the week to keep yourself energized.
Release your stress and anger on a treadmill or a punching ball. Dance your anxiety off in a good Zumba class. Find an activity that suits your lifestyle best. Start small, but start somewhere even if it’s just a few minutes a week. Don’t do it for losing weight, but do it for the fun and the many health benefits so you can stick to it.
